High-Quality Pediatric Therapy Services
Positive Steps Therapy has been providing quality physical, occupational, speech and feeding therapy to children from birth to age 21 in the Pittsburgh region since 2004. We employ passionate and dedicated therapists who specialize in areas related to the pediatric population, including concussion, feeding, sensory integration, and orthopedic conditions. Our clinicians focus on play and functional based activities to maximize a child’s potential.
Physical therapy addresses the development of gross motor skills, strength and balance. It also rehabilitates musculoskeletal deficits that can occur with physical disabilities, motor planning, injuries and surgeries.
Speech-language therapy works to assess, diagnose and treat speech and language concerns and social and cognitive communication difficulties.
Occupational therapy is centered on a patient’s motivation to engage in meaningful activities of daily life to promote and encourage participation despite impairments or limitations.
Early intervention (EI) is a collection of services and supports provided to children ages birth to three years that are designed to help families enhance their child’s development.
The goal of our feeding therapy is to make eating and meal time a positive and fun experience for the child and family.
