Ashley is our Speech Pathologist for Early Intervention and in both our Gibsonia and Wexford offices. She is a Pittsburgh native, from Shaler and received her undergraduate degree from the University of Pittsburgh before moving on to her graduate program at Florida Atlantic University. While working in Florida Ashley worked with various cultural backgrounds that she is grateful for broadened her skill base.
Outside of work Ashley enjoys traveling, exploring new places, cultures, foods and festivals, baking, visiting her best friends in California, reading cheesy murder mysteries and trying to keep up with her German Shepherd puppy.
At a very young age Ashley knew she wanted to work with children. She searched for a career that incorporated her favorite areas of study, biology and language. “Speech is everything I wanted to work with, all rolled into one.” She enjoys working with kids because of their innocence and honesty and the hilarity that often ensues because of it. “The impact that helping a child find his/her voice no only effects the child but the family and community of those the child interacts with as well.”
