Caryn is one of PSTs Developmentalists in Early Intervention. Originally from Wellsville, OH, she now resides in Bellevue. She attended Malone University and the University of Pittsburgh. She is a certified math teacher, taught Autistic support and is trained in Applied Behavior Analysis, Precision Teaching, and the TEACCH method.
Outside work she enjoys hiking, camping, running, Pirates games, sporting events and the Miami Dolphins. She is also the children’s and drama coordinator at Cornerstone Fee Methodist Church, Winter Weekend youth camp committee member and a teaching DV field experience supervisor at the University of Pittsburgh.
Growing up, Caryn’s family was extremely important to her. As a DV, “I enjoy working with families and empowering family members in natural environments and activities.” She enjoys watching kids grow and develop their own personalities and reach their fullest potential. “Kids are resilient; a diagnosis means nothing to them. I learn a lot from the innocence and determination of a child.”
