How we evaluate and treat:
After a thorough evaluation of your child, a discussion of you and your child’s personal concerns and/or goals, and any physician recommendations, our physical therapists will develop an individualized plan of treatment based on your child’s unique needs. A specified number of treatments per week for a determined length of time will be set after the evaluation.
Throughout your child’s treatment, the physical therapist will continually provide information and education to your family on activities that will carry over what they do in therapy sessions into their home and school settings through home exercise programs. We work closely with local pediatricians and maintain communication with your child’s primary care physician and/or referring physician throughout their therapy. We will also assist you and your child through the processes of recommendation, ordering, and maintenance of bracing, orthotics, or any other appropriate medical equipment.
